Agreement

The client agrees to these terms and conditions by booking with Signature Event Hire.

General Terms and Conditions for Hire

 

Booking Confirmation and Deposit

A non-refundable deposit of 30% is required to secure your booking. The remaining balance must be paid no later than 14 days prior to the event.

 

Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellations made 30 days or more before the event will forfeit the deposit.

Cancellations made within 7 days of the event will be subject to a cancellation fee of 100% of the hire fee.

 

Rescheduling Policy

Rescheduling requests must be made at least 30 days in advance and are subject to availability.

 

Setup and Bump-Out Time

Signature Event Hire may require access to the venue at least 2 hours before the event for setup.

Pack-down and bump-out will occur immediately after the agreed booking time. Both setup and pack-down are outside the hire's operating hours.

It is the client’s responsibility to be aware that if the event is still in progress during pack-down, Signature Event Hire staff may need to move equipment through the event space and among guests. Every effort will be made to minimize disruption.

 

Venue Approval and Parking

It is the client’s responsibility to ensure the venue permits hired equipment and to provide access for setup and pack-down.

Any parking or unloading fees incurred at the venue are the client’s responsibility and may be on-charged.

 

Damage and Liability

The client is responsible for any damages caused to the equipment by guests or venue staff.

Signature Event Hire is not liable for any injuries or damages resulting from misuse of the equipment.

 

Force Majeure

Signature Event Hire is not liable for cancellations or interruptions caused by events beyond their control, including but not limited to natural disasters, power outages, or emergencies.

 

Complaints or Issues

Any complaints or issues must be reported within 48 hours of the event for resolution.

 

Refund Policy

Refunds will only be issued under the circumstances outlined in these terms and conditions. Deposits are non-refundable.

 

Alcohol or Food Restrictions

No food or drinks are allowed near the hired equipment to prevent damage.

Photobooth-Specific Terms and Conditions

 

Event Access and Set-Up Requirements

The client must ensure adequate space (at least 2.5 meters square) and a reliable power source within 5 meters of the photobooth.

 

Child Supervision

Children under the age of 12 must be supervised by an adult while using the photo booth.

 

Photo Storage and Sharing

Photos will be stored in an online gallery for 30 days after the event, after which they will be deleted unless otherwise arranged.

The client will receive a download link at the event or within two business days.

Signature Event Hire may use photos for promotional purposes unless the client opts out in writing.

All stored photos are secured; we do not share them with third parties without consent.

 

Custom Artwork or Branding

Requests for custom artwork, logos, or text overlays must be submitted no later than 14 days before the event.

The client will receive a proof for approval, and changes beyond five revisions may incur additional fees.

 

Equipment Malfunction

In the unlikely event of equipment failure, Signature Event Hire will attempt to resolve the issue promptly. If a resolution is not possible, a partial refund will be issued based on the duration of the lost service.

 

Guest Conduct

Guests must behave respectfully. If inappropriate conduct occurs, the attendant has the right to shut down the photo booth without a refund.

 

Additional Time

Requests for additional hours during the event will incur a charge of $100 per hour, payable before the extension begins, and are subject to the attendant’s discretion.
